With
the extensive need for training in the new codes, CALBO is actively looking
for qualified instructors. CALBO Training Institute Commissioners and
instructors have spent many hours updating curriculum and creating uniformity
between courses. New instructors will have standardized curriculum available
to them.
In addition to the new classes, CALBO is also in need of
instructors for CTI’s core classes. We have offered more classes than ever
this year and need to increase the pool of instructors.
There are many benefits to teaching for CALBO.
Instructors are recognized as experts in the field and receive publicity
through newsletters and announcements. More importantly, our instructors feel
a great sense of accomplishment by giving back to the industry and helping to
keep citizens safe.
Compensation
is available for a select group of new classes based on the 2007 CBC.
