Dear California ICC Member:

On March 8, the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC) Coordinating Council comprised of members from seven state agencies unanimously recommended the adoption of the International Building Code (IBC), International Residential Code (IRC) and the International Fire Code (IFC) for adoption by the CBSC.

On March 16, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Secretary of State Auditorium, 1500 11th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 the CBSC will consider the recommendation by the Coordinating Council. Please plan on joining me then in Sacramento to voice your support for the IBC, IRC and IFC. We want to make sure the commission knows that the I-Codes are the best choice for all the people of California. The meeting facilities and restrooms are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
