Re-Roof Percentages
 

The City of Villa Park is considering a modification to its Building Code re-roof guidelines.  Currently, a homeowner can re-roof any portion of their roof at any time, but is required to re-roof with Class "A" material. The modification will state that if a re-roof constitutes 50% or more of the roof area of the structure, the entire structure is required to be re-roofed with Class "A" material.

Does anyone else have a similar (more or less) requirement? Thank you for your input.  I will submit any results to the list.
